ABOUT US (How Buz White with one "z" came about) The late and missed Leon "Buz" White was born in Corvallis Oregon in 1933. He was the founder of this company. His nickname was given to him because he had a lot of energy as a child and he liked to "buzz around". So the nickname stuck. Buz had an entrepreneurial spirit at an early age with his own paper route. In 1955 he met his wife Carol in Massachusetts and they later had their first of 5 children, Gary White.
